Human Resources European School (HRES) is a 7-day international training course that aims to empower youth NGO members - who are involved in the field of Human Resources - to develop, implement and manage HR strategies in their organisations. 
The Human Resources European School (HRES) is a 7-day international training course that aims to empower youth NGO members - who are involved in the field of Human Resources - to develop, implement and manage HR strategies in their organisations.

At HRES an international team of experienced trainers - with the methods of experiential learning and peer to peer education - will help 25 motivated participants to gain knowledge and skills in HR, which they can apply and multiply in their NGOs.

Aims of HRES

- to get an overview of the common tools used in each stage of the HR cycle
- to be able to make practical use of the techniques taken from motivational theories, conflict management, group evolution and coaching
- to confidently apply strategic planning and the tools of change management in a local youth NGO setting.



During the training course you will:

1. learn how to develop and implement HR strategies in your local youth NGO
2. get an insight into current motivational theories and the tools of both team building and coaching
3. be able to apply the techniques of strategic planning and change management at local level.

HRES will focus on the following topics:

- motivation
- team building
- HR cycle
- HR strategy
- conflict management
- leadership
- coaching

Methods

Non-formal interactive methods: group work, discussion, sharing, workshops, case study, exchange of experience, theory and practice, reflection.

Profile of participants

HRES is open for members of international youth organisations who:
- have a strong interest in the field of HR and willing improve HR in your local
- are responsible for HR on local level of their organisations or have strong motivation to become
- are ready for self-development, to question themselves and be open for feedback
- would like to be part of an international learning experience
- can communicate in English fluently

AEGEE-Kyiv is one of the most active Ukrainian antennae of AEGEE-Europe that has over 150 members and constantly enlarges by new ones. It takes part in exchanges, Summer Universities, trainings and researches of other European antennas and also in the preparation of local events. During the 16 years of its existence, AEGEE-Kyiv has made numerous local as well as European events. Beside yearly organized summer universties and a lot of local events, in 2009 AEGEE-Kyiv organized the general assembly of AEGEE-Europe with approx. 800 participants.

The association’s main aims are:

- Promoting a unified Europe without prejudices,
- Striving for creating an open and tolerant society of today and tomorrow,
- Fostering democracy, human rights, tolerance, cross border cooperation, mobility and European dimension in education.

All the numerous events and projects run by the organisation are to be focused on our 4 Fields of Action (Cultural Exchange, Active Citizenship, Higher Education, Peace & Stability) and 3 Focus Areas (Youth Participation, Bridging Europe and Inclusion of Minorities).

Costs


Participation fee is 80 EUR that includes accommodation, food, social programs and all course materials. Participants take care of their own travel expenses.
