Play Your East Part I | Contact making seminar | 14-18 May 2012 | Yerevan, Armenia

Aimed at Youth Workers that have an interest to get involved in Youth Exchanges, European Voluntary Service, or Training & Networking Activities through the Eastern Partnership Window. 
Participants will be encouraged to share practise, to form working relationships and to develop projects together, applying for the Eastern Partnership Funds.

This contact making seminar will offer the opportunity to establish a permanent international cooperation in the field of Youth Work, to increase the quantity and to improve the quality of Action 2 and Action 3.1 projects.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

East Part Seminars aim to provide space for participants to:

- Supply the basic knowledge of guidelines and rules of Youth in Action and the Eastern Partnership Programme.
- Supply information about planning the implementation of Action 1.3 and 5.1 projects.
- Create space for building international partnership.
- Create space for sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences and good practices.
- Plan future Eastern Partnership Projects.

PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS

- Youth Workers who represent youth organisations or informal groups, local authorities, who work in local governments or other public institutions, who act as employees or volunteers in NGOs, community centres, youth clubs or schools.
- Those who don't have much experience in implementing Eastern Partnership Projects.
- Those who have ideas and/or potential partners to develop an Eastern Partnership project.
- Those who have an earnest interest and possibility within their organisation/group (green light from their hierarchy/colleagues) to set up an Eastern Partnership project after the seminar.
- Those who are able to communicate and work in English.
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Are residents of the UK or EECA countries.

Participants are expected to have a basic knowledge of the Youth in Action Programme and/or have run international youth work projects before.

Costs

 

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs or SALTO involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. If you come from a country other than Programme Countries, please contact the host NA for further information about the financial details.
